Have just returned from a family holiday at the Viva Tropic Hotel in the Puerto Alcudia area of Majorca. The hotel staff were so friendly and the entertainments team were excellent and worked very hard. The apartment was quite spacious and adequate for a family of four. There is a small kichenette, you need to take your own kettle or hire one at the hotel, and you also need to take a hairdryer or again hire one. We booked the holiday via the internet, finding our own flights and booking the accommodation seperately, this saved a lot, the only downside to this is not having a transfer as the resort is quite a distance from Palma airport. We took a taxi there which knocked us back 70 euros, however for the return journey we caught a bus to Palma and then another to the airport for qpprox 32 euros for 4.
