Hotel Viva Can Picafort “Very clean hotel! ”

Jun 16, 2006

Hotel Village Viva, C’an Picafort, Majorca. 23rd May 2006.
Have just returned from two weeks at the above resort. There were eight of us. My husband and myself and our two children, age 10 and 8. My two friends with their two children age 10 and 4. The hotel itself was immaculate. Cleaners were everywhere you looked and the gardens around the complex were kept spotless. Due to the ages of our children, the one thing we did find was that there were an awful lot of babies and toddlers. Never seen so many in one place!!! This was a little offputting but I guess if I was the parent of a toddler or baby, I wouldnt have minded! The entertainment was not as good as it could have been. The production team did their upmost best to put on good shows and 9/10 for their efforts, however, it was very ‘tacky’. Tom, however, was extremely good. He was extremely versatile. All were good with the children though, and they were loved by the children.
The food, our friends thought was very repetitive, however, when you are there for 14 days with so many hundred people to cater for, it would become repetitive, however, I loved it. The thing that did make me laugh was how they stacked and padlocked the sunbeds every evening! Who said it was just the Germans who pinched the beds!!! The English could give them a good run for their money. A must, though, The Pirate Show. Fab!
